Flat Stanley around Chicago!

After he arrived by mail, Flat Stanley quickly became friends with my baby and they hung out and played with the toys in the house. While baby toys can be fun for babies, Flat Stanley tired of the toys within an hour, so he thought that going to the Winnemac Park would be fun, but the baby was too small to swing on the swings or slide on the slide. Because Flat Stanley is so generous, he offered to do all the things that the baby could not do at the park including swinging around in the tire over a 100 times!!!! Boy, was he dizzy! Afterwards, the baby told Flat Stanly in his baby language (crying very loudly!) that he was tired and needed to sleep. However, he gave Flat Stanly the helmet for the bike and the chain to go on long ride along Lake Shore Drive. The picture shows Flat Stanly trying out the bike before he went on a long ride to the south side. I am sure that there will be more adventures of Flat Stanley as he travels elsewhere......

Flat Stanley visits Grosse Isle!!!

For Magaly-
Well, I just finished up visiting a town called Grosse Ile. I learned that the name means "large island", and it really is an island in Michigan! They have two bridges for cars to get on and off of the island, and it's not too far from Detroit. In fact, you could take a boat from Detroit, down the Detroit River, and get to Grosse Ile that way. Being surrounded by water, I spent a while just hanging out enjoying the scenery. Here are some pictures of me by the water. The land that you see behind me is Canada! That's a different country! In the middle of Grosse Ile they have lots of houses and woods, so it's fun to hang out there, too. First I found some people to play a little soccer with (since I like to play soccer so much), and then I just relaxed on a swing for a bit. After that, I was ready to move on to my next adventure. I'll always remember Grosse Ile, Michigan, though! Flat Stanley
